favorite dog.....japanese spitz, also like the swedish valhund. (you can look them up for the pic).
Sister has a min-pin....looks like a rat and barks constantly.
mom had a shelte (other sister has 2)....Max was a great dog---was 14 1/2 when he died, blind and deaf as a doornail (dumb expression).

dont really like any dog that barks a lot....or looks like someone smashed it face in.....and really despise poodles, ugh.

My gf has a miniature poodle. Actually a good looking dog since they don't give it the stupid poodle hair cut.

Yes if as long as a poodle doesn't have a foo-foo cut they don't look bad and are very intelligent. I agree that flat faced dogs are just plain fugly.

I've been scared away from dogs. I was about 5, my parents brought in one to take care of it because it was abused, next thing I know I'm climbing up the frigging settee with a dog trying to pounce up at my barking aggressively. I've sorta lost the fear a bit now though, but looking back, the poor thing got put down soon after because he was way too aggressive.

Speaking of dogs, there is this golden retriever named Sandy that loves to take walks around my street in the morning. He has to be the most well behaved and obedient dog. Just the other morning he was walking beside me, as I walked to the bus stop.

Maybe you have done something to make the dog angry...most kids don't realize that catching a dog's tail may not be a good idea...and if a dog starts to show you his teeth it doesn't mean he is smiling, it means "get closer and you'll be missing something soon".

dogs....my aunt had a kerry blue terrier when I was a kid (they are HUGE) and it could put its paws on my shoulders (and often did)....dogs think I am a play toy (sister in law has a husky puppy that can do--and does--the same thing, dont visit them often).
Had a boy friend in college that had a white mutt---which they used as a guard dog since it hated just about everyone (almost took a thiefs arm off)....but the dang dog liked me, and hid in my lap during thunderstorms!

I dont have any pets other than stuffed toys as I am allergic to cats and we cant have a dog where I live ....maybe when I get a house my lil japanese spitzy will find its way to me---------------------------
